Very Merry Events
Dearest Family & Friends,
By now, we have all heard about the devastation that Japan is faced with. They are in great need of resources, aide, and help. I have signed up for the American Red Cross relief fund and have a personal goal of raising $2000. The money will directly fund the Tsunami & Earthquake victims in Japan. Please go to : http://sxsw4japan.org/verymerryevents to make a donation, any amount - big or small will make a difference.
After seeing the devastating aftermath through news coverage & footage of first hand accounts, I felt compelled to take action. The current death toll is estimated to be in the upwards of 10,000 with many still missing or unaccounted for. The situation in Japan is so dire that the local funeral home stresses [they] "just can't keep up." With the burdening of nuclear explosions, lack of food & water, overfilled shelters and local transportation inaccessible & compromised, this becomes a world crisis. We can do something to help. I hope that you will help in the campaign or even start one of your own.
Any donation, big or small will make a difference, please support and log onto : http://sxsw4japan.org/verymerryevents. All donations are tax deductible for 2011.
Thank you for your continued donations and support to this cause! Let us continue to pray for the victims and those suffering in Japan.
Kindly,
Mary
